Sugar Land Pet Hospital was founded in 1978, by Dr Buddy Brandt and Dr. L.O. Harrell, to provide complete pet care to the Sugar Land area.

In 1999, the hospital was purchased by Dr. Doug R Hendrix. Dr Hendrix was born and raised in Alief and worked for Dr. Harrell through high school and college.

Dr David M Brust, also a native of Houston, joined the clinic in 2006 to meet the growing needs of our hospital. Both doctors are graduates of Texas A&M.

Sugar Land Pet Hospital continues to provide the community with the same tradition of care and compassion.
